The VRC celebrates its members as we close out another memorable season at HQ.

The meeting plays host to The Byerley Handicap (1800m) – a coveted event for owners and trainers who will be seeking ballot exempt path for their two-year-olds into the Penfolds Victoria Derby or the Kennedy Oaks.  

Also on the card is the Flemington Cup (2800m) 1849 – a race 12 years older than the Lexus Melbourne Cup – that gives stayers another chance to go for gold at Headquarters. Following the passing of much-loved industry personality Deane Lester in February this year, the VRC is proud to rename the race the Deane Lester Flemington Cup in his honour.

The VRC Punters Club will be held in The Atrium for VRC Members and available from Saintly Place Sports Bar for public patrons. Proudly supported by TAB and hosted by key racing personalities, the VRC Punters Club is a great day out for serious and novice punters alike. Register before Race 3 on the day for only $10 and enjoy all the fun of the VRC Punters Club.
